Porch Group Media’s Westmont team recently lent their “Helping Hands” at Feed My Starving Children. Feed My Starving Children is dedicated to providing nutritious meals to children worldwide. The combined volunteer efforts from Porch Group Media and other participants yielded 125 boxes packed which includes 27,000 meals. In turn, 74 Children will be fed for a full year.
Porch Group Media recently launched “Lending Helping Hands,” its’ first annual company-wide community service initiative. During the month of May and June, employees have been participating in community service projects in their local communities in Matawan, NJ; Tampa, FL; Chicago, IL; Washington, DC; and throughout the United States.
Some of the projects include:
- Sorting non-perishable goods, packing produce, building boxes, stocking shelves, and filling pallets at “Feed Tampa Bay” in Florida.
- Picking up trash from the ocean and bay beaches at Sandy Hook in NJ.
- Packing food for “Feed My Starving Children” in Westmont, IL.
