Porch Group Media (PGM) recently demonstrated its unwavering commitment to community support through a series of impactful initiatives across the United States. PGM employees dedicated their time and resources to various local causes, embodying the company’s dedication to giving back to the communities where they live and work.
“Giving back to the community is deeply ingrained in PGM’s values,” said Michelle Taves, VP and Group GM of Data and Marketing. “It’s inspiring to see our employees enthusiastically dedicate their time and effort to make a tangible difference in the places we call home. These initiatives reflect our commitment to being responsible corporate citizens and fostering stronger, healthier communities.”
PGM employees participated in community service projects in their local communities in Matawan, NJ; Tampa, FL; Chicago, IL; Washington, DC; and throughout the United States. These efforts showcased the diverse ways PGM team members contribute to making a positive difference.
Some of the impactful projects included:
- In Florida, our Tampa team volunteered at Feed Tampa Bay, where they sorted non-perishable goods, packed produce, built boxes, stocked shelves, and filled pallets. Their hard work resulted in packing an impressive 11,216 meals for families in need.
- New Jersey employees took to the coast, diligently picking up trash from the ocean and bay beaches at Sandy Hook in NJ, contributing to cleaner local environments.
- In Illinois, Chicago employees lent a hand by packing meals for Feed My Starving Children in Westmont, IL, supporting efforts to provide nourishment to children around the world.
“Seeing our teams come together across the country to support such vital causes fills me with immense pride,” added Larisa Bedgood, Head of Marketing. “Whether it’s packing meals for those in need or cleaning up our local beaches, these acts of service highlight the incredible heart of our employees and our collective desire to positively impact the world around us.”
