Seattle, WA – September 3, 2025 — PGM Solutions today announced that its Home Factors property intelligence platform has completed testing with multiple new insurance carriers and the analysis demonstrated delivery of consistent, high-impact results, generating ROI1 greater than 20x across each carrier. By the end of 2025, the company expects to make more than 100 property attributes available, enabling insurers to gain a comprehensive view of nearly 90% of homes across the United States.
Home Factors provided insights to over 88% of the carriers’ policy data. Analysis identified segments with 23%–50% higher loss ratios, tied to attributes such as signs of water intrusion, electrical panel size, and signs of electrical repairs needed, among others. These findings reveal opportunities to improve pricing and underwriting accuracy, reduce exposure to high-risk properties, and reward low-risk segments.
“These results confirm the power of unique property condition data in driving smarter, more profitable decisions,” said Matt Ehrlichman, Founder and CEO of Porch Group. “Home Factors continues to prove its value in carrier after carrier, showing that this level of property intelligence is the missing link for more accurate underwriting and pricing.”
Traditional datasets do not provide property condition insights as compared to Home Factors which includes data such as pipe type, window condition, signs of water intrusion, roof material and condition, and much more, empowering insurers to refine pricing, mitigate losses, and strengthen retention strategies.
“This level of insight gives insurers a real competitive advantage,” said Michelle Taves, VP and Group GM, Data and Marketing at PGM Solutions. “We are seeing Home Factors consistently demonstrate material impact and value across multiple carriers, allowing these carriers to have differentiation in the market.”
